Listening Wind Cottage is a home away from home, located only 350 m from the dog friendly Silversands Beach in Betty’s Bay. We had the most exceptional stay and could've easily stayed longer.

What makes the cottage exceptional is that it is the perfect getaway for winter or summer breaks. Although geared more towards summer with the pool, beach and walking routes, the interior is spacious for humans and furkids alike. The addition of the indoor undercover entertainment area provides even more space to relax.

The added WiFi also makes this a place to easily work from if you have the option to work remotely.

It is the perfect place for lazing in the enclosed sunroom on the front porch with a book, or by the saltwater pool, napping on the garden bench-swing, making pizzas with the family or enjoying a braai. The braai and pizza oven are undercover and protected from the elements in the entertainment room for you to enjoy a braai, come rain or shine.

The house can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The main bedroom contains a king-size bed, the second bedroom has a queen-size bed, while the third bedroom has 2 single beds. The main bedroom is also quite private and located away from the other two bedrooms. There are both bath and shower facilities in the house, as well as two outside showers! One of them hidden through a secret window from the main bedroom's ensuite.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, and cutlery and crockery. There is also a breakfast bar with 2 stools. The dining area has seating space for 8 people, while the lounge has a comfy lounge suite. Basic DSTV channels are provided as well as a multimedia console to watch DVDs or play CDs. There is also a cupboard packed with loads of boardgames, and plenty of books. The house is super eclectic and anyone with an eye for art will have a ball discovering amazing pieces throughout the house, and even the garden.

The property is fenced and your well-behaved pets are welcome. There is a double garage for guests to use comprised of 2 single entrances. Access to the property is via the remote-controlled garage and the small garden gate. The property is alarmed and very safe.
