You've heard the expression 'two's company, three's a crowd'? Well, six people in a holiday home can sometimes feel like an experiment in sardine tin-style living - but not in this bright and airy wooden cottage.

The proportions of everything are ultra generous throughout: from the two contemporary ground floor bathrooms, to the trio of very generous double bedrooms, and the vaulted-ceilinged communal living area (complete with log-burning stove).

Furthermore, the granite-topped kitchen is of the impressive size more often found in a large four or five bedroomed suburban home. And it's equipped with enough modern gadgetry for would-be chefs to whip up a multi-course meal for everyone with the minimum of fuss.

And we haven't even mentioned the large, lawned and fully-fenced garden yet, with its charming cobbled patio and brick-built, semi-enclosed braai. There's enough, friends, family kids and 'furkids' to  hang out all day, without anyone feeling cramped for space.

Staying in-situ all-day would, however, mean missing out on the many pet-friendly delights of the Stone Hill Farm estate - most notably the 5km of 'off-leash' hiking trails and doggy paddling pools in the communal area. And, for breakfast, freshly baked bread and farm eggs can be delivered on request.
