Bluebush is one of seven rustic self-catering houses that make up Blue Roan Country Lodge on the peaceful foothills of the Magaliesberg mountains. Although there are seven houses on the property, they are far away enough from each other to be private.

The house has a quaint country style to it that is comfortable and perfect for a romantic escape if you want to connect or re-connect. But also if you just want to get away for a weekend.

The log fire in the lounge is great for cold nights, so it's a great spot for a winter getaway.

The lounge is an open plan area that leads into a small kitchen and out onto a covered patio. Whether you want to do eggs breakfast or have a braai, the kitchen has all the necessities – oven, cleaning supplies, and a coffee plunger. And there is a built in braai on the patio.

There is one bedroom with a corner spa bath and king size bed with electric blanket. The bathroom is separate with a large walk-in shower and all the finer details are taken care of - toilet paper and basic toiletries are complimentary. Clean towels and linen are also provided.

Perhaps best of all is the private, enclosed garden with high fences and space for your furry friends to run freely. There are also walking trails on the property and in the surrounding area that are safe to let them off the leash so they can run and stretch their legs.

Although it is designed to be private, there are communal areas – a games room with a pool table, board games, and bar, and a rock swimming pool with a thatched lapa.
