Little Oak Cottage is a double storey cottage with main bedroom and open-plan en-suite bathroom upstairs, kitchen and lounge area downstairs. The downstairs leads out to a patio with braai area and splash pool as well as large enclosed back garden.

The lounge has a large inside fireplace which is ideal for the cooler winter evenings and a large comfortable couch on which to laze away reading or catching an afternoon snooze. The patio is not covered, so during winter months be sure to bring extra towels for the pooches after doing their business and running around the garden, but during summer, this space is ideal to sit outside and watch the dogs play, have a braai and take a dip in the splash pool.

We were woken up one evening by horses coming inside the front garden to graze. The dogs had never seen such big animals before, so it caused some great excitement! The horses do sometimes roam during the day as well. Although there is only one area of the back garden where dogs can see the front, it is where your car would park, so there would be some obstruction in case they get spooked easily. If they are jumpers, larger dogs may be able to jump that wall.

Little Oak Cottage does not provide pet bedding or accessories, so you will need to bring your own beds, blankets and pet bowls. Also, all bedding upstairs is WHITE. If your pooch likes to jump on the bed with you - bring a bed cover ;)
