Sam's Place is a pet-friendly luxury farmhouse. It's located 20-minutes from Swellendam and has gorgeous views of the Langeberg Mountains. The house is fully fenced (including the pool area), so you don't need to worry about your dogs getting up to mischief.
The farmhouse can comfortably sleep 12 people (ideally 8 adults) and is the perfect option for large families or friend groups who are looking for a pet-friendly getaway from Cape Town or the surrounding area. There are four bedrooms with two queen-sized beds, two single beds, two bunk beds and a double sleeper couch.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, oven, stove, fridge and freezer. There is also a dishwashing machine, and all the necessary cutlery and crockery is provided as well as linen, bath towels, soap and dishwashing detergents.
Next to the kitchen is a large open plan lounge and dining area with a cosy fireplace. There's also a TV with DSTV if you want to have a lazy night at home and air-conditioning for those balmy summer nights.
Outside of the farmhouse, you'll find a stunning private wooden deck. It's an ideal spot to host dinner parties in the summer months and braai with the whole family. Two bags of firewood is provided as well as blitz and a stainless steel grid.

We have a variety of Mountain side locations in South Africa, and they are not all only limited to the Western Cape, but the majority are. Mountain pet-friendly getaways include a variety of accommodations from guest farms, houses, cottages and campsites. Most are usually pretty exclusive with vast open areas, and sometimes even rivers, typically built on a farm.

Sam's Place is set on a 40-hectare farm with plenty of things to do. In the warm summer months, you can spend your weekend away swimming or canoeing down the river. There are hikes through the stunning Langeberg Mountains as well as easy to moderate mountain bike trails.
On the farm, there is a children's playground, a labyrinth and beautiful picnic spots next to the river.
