Blommekloof Sunflower Cottage is located on a farm in Leeeukloof near Mossel Bay.
Inside this beautiful off-the-grid cottage, you'll find two bedrooms with one double bed and one with two single beds. If you need more space, a double bed or bunk beds are available on request. There is one bathroom with a bath and a shower.
In the open-plan living and lounge area, you'll find a cosy fireplace (wood is free of charge) and a fully-equipped kitchen. There is enough crockery and cutlery for four or more people and a gas-powered stove.
Outside, you'll find a covered patio area with a braai area.

We have a variety of Mountain side locations in South Africa, and they are not all only limited to the Western Cape, but the majority are. Mountain pet-friendly getaways include a variety of accommodations from guest farms, houses, cottages and campsites. Most are usually pretty exclusive with vast open areas, and sometimes even rivers, typically built on a farm.
Some of our favourite destinations include: Bainskloof, Ceres, Tulbagh, Drakensberg
Birding, Hiking, Fynbos Watching, Mountain biking (MTB), Off-road Motorcycling, and Swimming.
The Leeukloof area is a quiet, secluded valley near the Outeniqua Mountains. Near the farm, you'll find plenty of opportunities for birding, hiking, swimming, and mountain biking.
For a scenic drive, go up the winding Robinson Pass. It's located above Ruiterboss and passes through the beautiful Outeniqua Nature Reserve.
If you want to explore further afield, you can take a drive down to Mossell Bay and discover South Africa's iconic Garden Route.
Another day trip option is to visit the Klein Karoo. The area is home to ostrich farms, wine farms, and the UNESCO Swartberg Nature Reserve.
